Your stay at SWE can include both Barn Apartment and Barn Loft which would provide 2 bedrooms. In Barn Apartment there is a queen-sized bed in the bedroom and a couch in the living room. In Barn Loft, there are two twin beds, a couch in the sitting area and SWE can include an additional cot if needed. The Barn Apartment and Loft, if rented together, can accommodate up to six (6) people.
Yes, however, there will be an additional deposit and charge and some restrictions. For example, we will ask that you do not allow the dog (or cat) on the furniture/couches and you will need to commit to cleaning up after your pet.

No, under no circumstances can refuse be dumped on the property. KOA Fancy Gap is 18 minutes from SWE as well as other locations that offer these services.
There is no staff on site. Each stall is bedded with loose shavings. Fresh hay can be provided if needed. The center aisle is spacious and has heating for winter months or cold nights (we will be there to get the wood stove burning), fresh water, and a bathroom. The paddock on the side of the barn has a view of the creek. There are approximately 5 acres of pasture for your horses to graze and walk. There are trails, both flat and mountainous accessible directly from the property. Your horse can also be comfortable and safe in its lodging while you enjoy the property on your own! IMPORTANT NOTE: Vaccines: We must have up-to-date Coggins, and Flu Rhino vaccines on file for all horses before they can unload.
We plan so that you may arrive at 3pm EST for all stays. That said, we can be flexible depending on your travel schedule and our ability to prepare the space for you.
The maximum number of people that can gather for an event at SWE is 100. For larger gatherings, please inquire…depending on the event, we might be able to accommodate you.
Set up for your event at SWE can start 48 hours before the event is to begin. Clean up from the event needs to be complete 24 hours after the event. The actual event duration can be designed to your needs.
